Terms of service
Using OMyDays means agreeing to these terms and to the community guidelines. Seven sections, no surprises.
Effective July 2026 Draft for the MVP
1 · The service
OMyDays is a place to post short rants that expire after 24 hours, react to others’ rants, and reply where the poster has welcomed it. It is provided as-is, free of charge. It is a pressure valve, not a professional service — and not a substitute for medical, legal, or mental-health care.
2 · Your account
You must be 16 or older. One account per person; you’re responsible for what’s posted from it, under any alias. Verify your email before you post — it is how we slow down abuse. Keep your credentials to yourself: an alias protects you from other readers, not from your own shared password.
3 · Your content
Your rants are yours. You grant us only the license needed to display them for their 24 hours in print — a license that expires when the post does. We claim no ownership, no right to republish, and no right to use your content for advertising or model training.
4 · House rules
The community guidelines are part of these terms. We may remove content and suspend or ban accounts that break them. Reports are handled while a rant is still in print — nothing about a report outlives the post, as described in the privacy policy.
5 · Disappearing, honestly
We delete expired content from our systems, but we cannot delete what other people did while it was in print — screenshots exist, and the internet is the internet. Post accordingly. Expiry is a strong default, not an unbreakable law of physics.
6 · Liability
To the maximum extent the law allows, OMyDays is not liable for user content, for advice you take from a reply, or for interruptions to a free service. Our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us — which, for the record, is nothing.
7 · Changes and goodbye
We’ll post material changes to these terms 14 days before they take effect, on this page and in the paper. You can leave any time by deleting your account; everything goes with it, per the privacy policy. We’d rather you stayed and ranted about us instead.
